LoveLine: Revealing Truths is a collaborative awareness campaign and exhibition exploring the fine line between love and toxicity. Through visual art, interactive experiences, educational material, and social storytelling, the campaign helps audiences recognise unhealthy relationship dynamics and reflect on truths that are often difficult to see.
We developed LoveLine collaboratively and passed work between one another whenever the project needed it, sharing responsibility for the campaign as a whole while each person held a primary role. My main contributions focused on campaign design, packaging dielines, the Unpackaged Baggage goodie-bag packaging, and sole responsibility for video editing.
01 — Foundation
Ideation
Research, visual references, planning, and group discussions were collected in a shared Miro board. The process shaped the campaign around a simple tension: harmful relationships can appear loving from the outside while concealing manipulation, neglect, and emotional abuse.

02 — Visual system
Brand identity
The identity combines distressed lettering with red and cyan layers to express opposing realities. A branding manual defined logo usage, colour, typography, and applications so the campaign stayed consistent across physical and digital touchpoints.
The business cards incorporated heart-shaped die cuts and tinted lenses, turning a small brand object into an introduction to the exhibition’s central interaction.
03 — Information design
Campaign touchpoints
An introduction poster and brochure established the campaign’s purpose, explained toxic traits, shared survey findings, and directed visitors toward support resources and LoveLine’s social channels.

04 — Revealing truths
Illusion artworks
The art series visualises how unhealthy relationships can look different from inside and outside. Without the lenses, each image remains deliberately difficult to read. Red “rose-tinted” lenses reveal an idealised version; blue lenses expose the darker reality beneath.
The three works explore emotional abuse, manipulation, and neglect.
05 — Interactive exhibition
Shattered Illusion, Fractured Resilience & Tangled Truths
Custom red and blue glasses make the artworks participatory. Fractured Resilience—a shattered yet intact mannequin crowned with darkened roses—represents survival through pain.
Tangled Truths translates visitors’ anonymous experiences into a live network of coloured strings, making patterns across romantic, friendship, and family relationships visible.

06 — Extending the campaign
Merchandise & packaging
Apparel, lenticular cards, and temporary tattoos carried the campaign beyond the exhibition. I contributed to the packaging dielines and production design, creating branded formats that protected the smaller products and included a thank-you message.

08 — Interview series
Unpackaged Baggage
A street-interview series invited participants to “unpack” emotional baggage while opening a luggage-inspired mystery box filled with nostalgic local snacks. The comforting ritual created space for candid stories and connected childhood experiences to the roots of harmful relationship patterns.
I designed packaging dielines for the luggage-style goodie bag and was the project’s sole video editor, shaping the interviews into social-first episodes and supporting promotional edits.
09 — Awards submission
Packaging the campaign for Kancil Awards
After the exhibition, the campaign was reframed specifically for the Kancil Awards. These materials were separate from the original public-facing campaign: a concise campaign film communicated the full idea in motion, while presentation boards organised the problem, objective, strategy, key experiences, outcomes, and visual system for jury review.
The supporting poster focused on the illusion-art mechanism, showing how the opposing lenses reveal two readings of the same relationship. Together, the submission materials condensed a multi-part exhibition into a clear, repeatable awards narrative.

07 — Digital outreach
Social media
Instagram supported the exhibition with educational posts, Stories, Reels, anonymous confessions, and previews. It expanded the campaign’s reach while giving audiences a lower-pressure way to learn about toxic relationship patterns.
